"Creta
Sun Hotel" is located in Gerani of Platanias
Municipality, about 13 klm. west of the city
of Chania. The newest part of the hotel (the
biggest part of the complex) was built in
2000 and consists of suites and apartments.
"Creta
Sun Hotel" is situated right on the beach of
Gerani. The apartments in the hotel can fit
up to 6 persons, very comfortably, as all
the rooms are enormous - meaning very
spacious.
The hotel is open all year round - separated
into two time periods. The summer period
begins April 1st and lasts until the end of

The area of Gerani is located 1 klm. from
the center of Platanias.
There is a local bus for Platanias and the
city center of Chania every 20 minutes and
stops 50 meters from the hotel. If you have
rented a car, the hotel provides a safe
parking area for it.
Gerani Beach is a popular beach due to the
fact that it has been awarded a "Blue Flag"
from E.E.C. The beach offers sun-beds and
umbrellas, and other activities such as
"beach volley-ball".
